Healthy Communities for Arizona
Where we live, learn, work and play has a greater impact on how long and how well we live than individual behaviors or health care. To improve the health and well-being of Arizonans, we know that we must change the underlying conditions where people live.
The Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities is a statewide collaboration of more than 30 nonprofits, foundations, businesses, and government agencies. Our vision is an Arizona where all communities are healthy places to live.
The recording is now available for our October 20th “Mental Health & Housing” online forum, a panel discussion where Arizona-based experts examined the two-way relationship between mental health and housing, including how to apply what we have learned through the pandemic. If you missed this important discussion, it is definitely worth a watch!
About the Partnership
The Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities plans to create multi-sector collaborations by bringing together the public health, housing, transportation, community development, and economic development fields. Our unique approach brings the private and public sectors together to ensure that banks, health insurers, and health care providers are active partners alongside the government and nonprofit sectors.
