Healthy Communities for Arizona

Where we live, learn, work and play has a greater impact on how long and how well we live than individual behaviors or health care. To improve the health and well-being of Arizonans, we know that we must change the underlying conditions where people live.

The Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities is a statewide collaboration of more than 30 nonprofits, foundations, businesses, and government agencies. Our vision is an Arizona where all communities are healthy places to live.

Register today for our Sept 28th “Small Projects, Big Impact” online forum. Experts from around the state will discuss the impact that small-scale projects are having on affordable housing and neighborhood development.

Meet the teams joining the 2022 Live Well Arizona Incubator cohort. The Incubator — a joint endeavor between the Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities and Vitalyst Health Foundation — supports and coaches teams building their way to community-driven collaboration to address place-based health and well-being.

About the Partnership

The Arizona Partnership for Healthy Communities plans to create multi-sector collaborations by bringing together the public health, housing, transportation, community development, and economic development fields. Our unique approach brings the private and public sectors together to ensure that banks, health insurers, and health care providers are active partners alongside the government and nonprofit sectors.
